Wrath

But since we belong to the day, we must stay alert and clearheaded by placing the breastplate of faith and love over our hearts, and a helmet of the hope of salvation over our thoughts. For God has not destined us for wrath but to possess salvation through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.

Scripture points out that the day consumes us so much that we belong to it. The day is what is desperate for ALL of our attention.

Therefore, live the day! But put first what is first - Faith, love and hope. These are the reasons for the day.

We are not created for the wrath. Wrath is not our destination. Although, it can seem like wrath is the reason for the days we suffer through. Wrath wants to steal faith, love and hope from us.

Jesus has a better way and a much, much better outcome as we put life to His words in the way our day unfolds.
