What encircles you?

As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ ‭TPT‬‬

We don’t think often about what happens in the realm of Heaven. It isn’t something we can see so it doesn’t come readily to mind.  If we say the Lord’s Prayer we make a request that what happens in our world is as it is in Heaven.  Those words fall easily from our lips.  Our heart understands the meaning as we imagine a peace that exists in Heaven where God’s will is perfectly followed.

When we look at the ways of this world, it is hard to see God’s will actively being implemented. 

Especially when very loud voices oppose God’s will.

This verse in Hebrews places each one of us in a circle where Heavenly witnesses surround us, watching each of us is met with excitement as we make choices that please God.

When we forgive someone that is hard to forgive or when we sing to Jesus, or read God’s word, or stop in solitude to hear God speak - in these moments the Heavens come alive. It is a great moment for us and for our Father as the Heavens rejoice and our hearts continue to be transformed into the link to Heaven. 

This is the path that we travel with a Heavenly passion. It is the goal that we determine when we run toward God with determination. The world’s noise goes away when we are on this path. 

Find this path today and spend the day on it.  Peace, joy, kindness, gentleness, love, self control, faith and patience await you on this path and the Heavens will rejoice as they encircle you like clouds and heavenly songs cheer for this new you.
