So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power.

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭10‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Paul suffers from a thorn in his side. It is bodily harassment that keeps him humble and opens a portal to God’s power. What a delight to have that portal open!

Few days go by that God’s Power is not needed. We need this power in our daily lives but often we don’t seek it. The noise of this world can leave us thinking we can fix this problem or that. We get used to fixing things and can forget about the power of God.

Stop for a minute and recall when you have seen God work. The power of God is available to us now - today.

God can change our circumstances today. He needs humble lives for His purposes. Accept the things that make you humble. Be content with those thorns. Look at God and make requests and enjoy the results of His power today.
