The Power of the Ocean

The ocean is a powerful force.  There is no fighting it. The ocean always wins - especially when it is angry.  Give it time - it will become angry.  Man has no ability to fight it’s power.

If man attempts to fight the ocean, it is just a matter of time before man relents as the ocean outlasts any man, any vessel and anything when the ocean gets angry enough. When the ocean presents itself with all its force, man is reduced to tears.  When tears appear, so does God.

Tears represent a time when words cannot express man’s prayer - man’s requests from the God, Almighty.   When tears are present, so is God.

The ocean has a beauty that cannot be reproduced.  Man must stand in awe, hundreds or thousands of miles from shore.  At such distances, a man without a sea worthy vessel, is doomed to death.  Giving up in this environment may become the only choice.

This is every man’s life.

Even life with grass under one’s feet long enough results in the same predicament.  Life seems to always get reduced to a tearful moment when all hope is lost.  But God.

God always always always shows up in man’s desperation.  God shows up and rescues.  It’s God’s strength.  It is His promise and His promise never fails.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Matthew 21:22

These are words from Jesus. In desperation, man makes his requests. God grants the request. It is His promise.  He only asks that we do not question.  Just believe.  You are saved as a result.
