The harmonious wind blows

Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;

Psalms 148:8

God’s words are vast, unimaginable, covering every aspect of our life, the lives of every person and every nation.  As I look and see lives that crumble, nations in disarray, starvation in the midst of corruption, people in sickness and surrounded by death, and yet….  God’s words are being fulfilled. Just as He says.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of his hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard.

Psalms 19:1-3

All of the heavens know what man ignores. 

This past weekend, the wind blew and every person was impacted by the voracious wind.  All the same, they were being impacted by the will of God.  But people only spoke of the wind.  This wind was brought about by the living God who speaks into every life. That seems to be a more important conversation.  Don’t be silent about our God!

Rest today knowing that all of nature sings a soothing melody in harmony with the heavens that all creatures enjoy, including man, if he will listen.
