The flow of life

Life does not come only from eating bread but from God. Life flows from every revelation from his mouth.

Life happens day in and day out.  Most of life is consumed with day to day activities such as work, extra curricular activities and people that surround us.  At times life can be busy or boring.

Jesus talks of a life that flows from God’s mouth.  That life probably looks different than the life that consumes us day after day.  It must look different. 

The life that flows from God is filled with peace, joy, love, faith and the other fruits of the Spirit even in the midst of the troubles of this life.

The life that flows from God’s mouth requires an ear that hears God’s voice, an eye that focuses on His Word, a soul that is open to a change and a heart that is soft enough to trust His promises.
