Mysteries

God conceals the revelation of his word in the hiding place of his glory. But the honor of kings is revealed by how they thoroughly search out the deeper meaning of all that God says.

For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood.

The mystery of God is worthy of exploration. God draws us to him yet we are not given the whole picture. We see bits and pieces. As we draw closer, the mystery becomes clearer.

Your word is a lamp to my feet.

Psalms 119:105

This word is the start of the uncovering the layers between us and God.

God’s puts a lamp unto our feet - not a spotlight shining into our future. We study what is in front of us and allow God to speak into our life as He unveils himself.

Quiet the noise of the world and God can be heard. He has much to say to us.

The blessings God promises when we walk this path, reading His word and listening for His voice contain the abundance enjoyed by kings. God sets out a path before us and he lights our way.
