Clouds in my day

I thought about my ways, And turned my feet to Your testimonies. I made haste, and did not delay To keep Your commandments. The cords of the wicked have bound me, But I have not forgotten Your law.

Psalm 119:59-61

Examining your ways daily is a healthy concept. Each day passes and life gets in the way blocking the view of God.

Life presents clouds that block God’s ways.

Clouds are common place and bring rain, thunder and lightening. Yet God remains watching and directing your life in ways He understands but often feels like lightening strikes. God’s love will always end up putting us in a better place. Always. In spite of the pain.

Examine this process daily and reminding our hearts that the process is directed by God - not the ways of this world - keeps us in tune with the Father. Allowing the clouds to be our focus puts us in the fog where the world expects us to be. There we hear lies that try to convince us of the enemies ways are better.

Stopping during the day and examining our ways, making haste to get back to the Father is the way back to His blessings.
