A few simple rules for a man

  1. There are no shortcuts to manhood. Advice seeks a shortcut. Hear good advice. But life teaches the meaningless of haste. Slow and steady pain. Pain is a great teacher. Much more effective than wise words from another.  Live by the day -Measure by the decade.

  2. Embrace failure. Fail fast. Move through it. Grow as a consequence.  Failure requires God.

  3. Grace is the most important tool for friendship.  A “no jerks” rule excludes everyone - including the rule maker. Grace for another leads to much deeper friendship.

  4. A life of prayer with great faith can achieve anything. Pray intently and know that God responds. He does what we ask and His response is beyond anything we can ever imagine.

  5. Do everything slower. Hurry silences God.
